Popovic's season in doubt
Socceroo defender Tony Popovic is likely to miss the rest of the English first division season for Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury.
Popovic, who scored in Australia's 3-1 triumph against England in February, limped off in last week's 4-1 win over Grimsby and has been told he needs two weeks rest before being able to resume training.
A fortnight off would put the 30-year-old in a race against time to be back for Palace's final game of the year against Gillingham on May 4.
Popovic has struggled with calf and groin strains for most of the season.
