AFL bans Warne's Sainthood
The AFL is likely to veto Shane Warne from having an official role at St Kilda during this season.
The league said it would contact the Saints, after Warne was spotting at training.
But a Saints spokesperson said Warne, an avid St Kilda fan, was only "having a look".
"He's not there in any official capacity at this stage," the spokesperson said.
The Australian Cricket Board banned the star leg spinner for 12 months on February 22 after finding him guilty of taking banned diuretics.
An AFL spokesman would not comment on the nature of the official query to the Saints.
But he said the league, under its drugs code, "must respect" doping penalties handed down by other sporting bodies.
"He just (walks) around the place - as you can see, he's having a chat with `Harvs' (Robert Harvey), they will both be talking about how great they are," joked Saints coach Grant Thomas on the ABC.
Cricket officials are still determining what involvement Warne can have with the cricket community during his playing ban.
