Barron sings Schwarzer's praises
Socceroo Mark Schwarzer is one of the world's best goalkeepers according to his coach at English Premier League soccer club Middlesbrough.
Schwarzer put in a man-of-the-match display last weekend during Middlesbrough's 1-0 loss to Fulham.
But Middlesbrough goalkeeping coach Paul Barron said that was just what the club had come to expect from the Australian.
"That's the biggest compliment that a keeper can have, that you expect that kind of performance," Barron told the club website.
"He has very few weaknesses to his game and all you need if you have that is the ability to produce the 'silly' saves that world class keepers produce - and he has produced his fair share of those this season as well.
"He's very dedicated, does any number of hours and his attitude to training is excellent."
Barron admitted to a little tension in the dressing room in the build-up to next month's Australia-England friendly in London.
"I have a ticket for a seat right behind the goal and I'm going to abuse him all night," he said.
"But seriously, what we would like is for Mark to have a great game - and England to win two or three nil."
