Grinham continues winning way
Australia's newly-crowned British Open squash champion Rachael Grinham has set up a British Open final repeat against England's Cassie Jackman in the quarter-finals of the US Open in New York.
The third seed from Toowoomba in Queensland comfortably overcame Irish qualifier Madeline Perry 9-7 9-1 9-0 in the first round, while Jackman dismissed compatriot Rebecca Macree 9-4 9-7 9-3.
Grinham beat Jackman for the first time when she won the British Open final in four games at Nottingham 10 days ago and will look to continue her devastating form when she takes on the sixth seed in New York.
Grinham's sister, eighth seed Natalie, cruised through to the quarter-finals after demolishing England's Vicki Botwright 9-3 9-0 9-3.
English qualifier Jenny Duncalf pulled off the best result of her career when she despatched home favourite Natalie Grainger, the No.2 seed, in five games.
