Norman grouped with Woods
Double British Open champion Greg Norman has been grouped with Tiger Woods for the opening two rounds of this week's British Open at Royal Troon.
Norman and Woods, along with England's Lee Westwood, will tee off at 1.42pm local time (2242 AEST).
Norman, who clinched the 1986 and 1993 British Open titles, is among a record 20-strong Australian contingent at this year's 133rd staging of golf's oldest major.
It easily eclipses the 15 Australians at last year's Open championship.
And Norman's 18-year old son, Gregory, will carry his golf bag for the first time at a major.
"It's going to be a great week for young Gregory and he's looking forward to it," said Norman.
"I guess I must have thought to myself that the day would come when he would caddy for me in a major given that my career was going to be long enough.
"And that's why it's nice that it has now happened and it's just great for him."
Norman played a full 18-hole practice round on Monday on the championship venue practicing in the company of fellow Australians Adam Scott and Rod Pampling along with American Brad Faxon, winner of the 1993 Australian Open.
It was at the Royal Troon course in 1989 where Norman found a bunker off the tee at a play-off hole to eventually lose out to American Mark Calcavecchia.
