Grinham beats sister to reach final
Australia's Rachael Grinham has stormed past her younger sister Natalie in straight games on Saturday to reach the final of the Hong Kong Open squash tournament, where she will play world No.1 Nicol David.
Rachael played brilliant squash to crush her higher ranked sister 11-1 11-7 11-6 and make her first final in four attempts at the Hong Kong Open.
She was never in danger in the semi-finals and played an almost flawless match, a fact recognised by Natalie after the game.
"I just couldn't do anything - it's so frustrating," Natalie said.
"It's not as if I was having a bad day or anything, but she just didn't do anything wrong."
Rachael will have to be at her best once again if she is to deny David her third successive Hong Kong title.
The Malaysian won her 52nd match in a row as she beat American Natalie Grainger 11-8 11-9 11-5.
The men's final will be between world No.1 Amr Shabana and Frenchman Gregory Gaultier.
Shabana was too good for France's Thierry Lincou 7-11 11-3 11-3 11-4, while Gaultier ousted Englishman James Willstrop 11-4 8-11 11-7 11-2.
