Hewitt ignores Wimbledon draw
Defending champion Lleyton Hewitt conceded he had a tough draw at Wimbledon but said he wasn't reading too much into it.
Hewitt will face a qualifier in the first round, with possibly big-hitting American Taylor Dent or Max Mirnyi in the third round.
All this before he makes it to a possible quarter-final against Queens champion Andy Roddick or Tommy Robredo, who knocked him out of the French Open.
Should Hewitt make it to the semi-final, he could find himself up against fourth seed Roger Federer, eighth seed Sjeng Schalken or ninth seed Rainer Schuettler.
But Hewitt, who was given the top seed despite losing the world No.1 spot to Andre Agassi this week, said he wasn't looking beyond the first round at this stage.
"Obviously I've got a qualifier first round and they're not going to be easy. They've got matches under their belt, they've got nothing to lose," Hewitt said.
Hewitt was mindful of last year, when he played qualifier Gregory Carraz in the second round and was lucky to win the first set.
"You really can't take any chances out there against those guys," he said.
"Hopefully I can get through that one and then Krajicek's in that section and I've just got to go out there and take it one match at a time."
But he pointed to last year's tournament when several of the top seeds crashed out in early rounds.
