Aussies looking to bowl out Windies
The Australian bowling attack will be trying to turn the heat on the West Indian batting lineup when play resumes on day four at the Adelaide Oval.
The Windies are 2-68 in their second innings, a lead of 45 runs, with vice-captain Ramnaresh Sarwan 53 not out and night watchman Daren Powell yet to score.
The talented Sarwan has been disappointing this tour having only made 102 runs in his previous five innings.
Australia's Mike Hussey (133no), who scored his second Test century in just his third match, felt the game was evenly poised.
"I think there is still plenty to play for in this game, I think it is a big session tomorrow morning," he said.
"I thought Sarwan played really well today, he played good positive cricket but we need to keep the runs down and consistently take wickets and put them under a lot of pressure."
"I am confident we can chase down whatever they set us."
Australia is chasing its second straight home series whitewash over the Windies after crushing wins in Brisbane and Hobart.
The home side made the two early inroads late Sunday by removing openers Devon Smith (0) and Wavell Hinds (15).
