Australia to continue with spin duo
Australia is expected to continue playing the spin duo of Shane Warne and Stuart MacGill in the final Test against the West Indies in Adelaide starting Friday.
The legspinners have proven they can be a potent combination by collecting 37 wickets in the last three Tests they have played together.
MacGill and Warne both played a prominent role at Bellerive Oval by taking nine scalps in Australia's nine-wicket victory over the West Indies in Hobart on Sunday.
The victory secured the Frank Worrell Trophy as Australia claimed an unbeatable 2-0 series lead in the three-match series.
The Adelaide Oval pitch is expected to suit spin and Australian captain Ricky Ponting praised the pair's contributions.
"It worked very well in the last couple of games and really over the last couple of years I guess whenever Stuey has played, he has generally done a pretty good job," said Ponting.
"I think they actually complemented each other well they are different styles of bowlers and have worked well in tandem and worked well when they have had a fast bowler bowling with them at the other end as well.
"I think it will probably happen a bit more over the next couple of years."
