Eagles sack Wilson
West Coast has sacked full-forward Troy Wilson.
The Eagles met with Wilson on Monday and told him he would not be offered a contract in 2004.
Wilson made his debut as a 29-year-old in 2001 after success with WAFL club East Perth.
He was the club's leading goalkicker in his debut season but was troubled by injuries in 2002 and played just five games in 2003 despite the Eagles' lack of tall forward targets.
Wilson's departure added to that of Ashley McIntosh and David Sierakowski since the elimination final loss to Adelaide, as the Eagles overhaul their selection of tall players.
