Scott wins Johnnie Walker Classic
Australian golfer Adam Scott led from start to finish to claim a three stroke victory in the Johnnie Walker Classic in Beijing.
The 24-year old Queenslander took a commanding five-stroke lead in the last day but that had been eroded to just a single stroke after 10 holes on the Pine Valley course.
But the current World Number 10 regrouped with birdies at the 12th and 13th holes to claim his second title of the season.
Scott carded a last round level par 72 to end with an 18-under par total and finish clear of reigning US Open champion, Retief Goosen.
Perth's Brett Rumford finished with a last round 69 to share seventh place with Ernie Els and Colin Montgomerie.
Scott will defend his Johnnie Walker Classic title in Perth next year but at a venue still to be decided.
