WA, Qld, NSW and SA through to AHL semis
Western Australia, Queensland, NSW and South Australia have made it through to Saturday's semi-finals of the women's Australian Hockey League.
The SmokeFree WA Diamonds finished on top of the points table after easily beating the Canberra Labor Club Strikers 7-1 to complete the competition's seventh round in Canberra.
The Adelaide Suns finished fourth to make their first semis appearance since 2002, with Queensland and NSW finishing in second and third spots respectively.
It will only be the second time in ten years that the ACT side has not made the semis.
The semi-finals will be held at Canberra's Hockey Centre.
