Australia's Hopman campaign in doubt
Australia's participation in the Hopman Cup is in doubt after Mark Philippoussis sustained a groin injury during the home side's 2-1 loss to the Netherlands in Perth on Wednesday night.
Alicia Molik won her singles match against Michaella Krajicek before Philippoussis suffered the injury during his three-set loss to Dutch veteran Peter Wessels.
The Victorian was then forced out of the mixed doubles to hand the Dutch the tie and he'll have scans on Thursday to determine the extent of the injury.
Undefeated Group A teams Argentina and Germany meet on Thursday for a place in Saturday's final, while defending champion the US tackle the Slovak Republic and Russia faces Italy.
