Australia and Pakistan will today complete their tune-ups for the first cricket Test at the WACA Ground in Perth.

Having won the last six Tests against Pakistan, Australia will start hot favourites and have only one selection poser which is whether to include paceman Brett Lee in place of either Michael Kasprowicz or batsman Darren Lehmann.

Pakistan also needs to get its balance right, having had its top order struggle so far on tour, but the tourists possess a genuine match-winner in fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar.

The WACA wicket is expected to be fast and bouncy as usual and ticket sales for the match have also been good, with the first day close to a sell-out.
