AFL draft day looms
Seventeen-year-old Brett Deledio, an outstanding junior footballer from Kyabram in country Victoria, is expected to be named as the number one selection in the AFL national draft.
Richmond, which has nine picks including the coveted first selection, is expected to select Deledio.
Hawthorn is likely to select the Northern Territory's Richard Tambling at number two and the Western Bulldogs are expected to choose South Australian Ryan Griffen at number three.
Former Essendon and Richmond player Justin Blumfield, ex-Hawk Mark Graham and ex-Magpie Mark McGough are among a group of discarded players hoping to gain a new club.
