Rabbitohs re-signs the Mad Dog
South Sydney has re-signed Adam MacDougall until the end of 2006 NRL season on an incentive-based contract following the former international's wretched run with injury in recent seasons.
The powerful back did not have any reservations about staying with the Rabbitohs after moving to Souths from Newcastle in the off-season.
MacDougall, who turns 29 on Saturday, is expected to be out for the 2004 season after tearing his Achilles tendon in Souths' 50-4 humbling in Melbourne last month.
"I'm looking forward to hopefully playing for the club again this season once I have recovered from my Achilles tendon injury," MacDougall said in a statement.
