Newcastle's MacDougall to miss one game
Newcastle centre Adam MacDougall will miss this Sunday's vital NRL clash with Canberra after entering early guilty pleas to two charges arising out of Monday's win over Gold Coast.
MacDougall was charged following two incidents which occurred within a minute of each other in the 32-12 win at Skilled Park, the first a head slam and the second a dangerous throw.
Both were grade one offences and neither would have resulted in a ban on their own.
But combined they mean the veteran three-quarter will miss Sunday's trip to the national capital, where the Knights could leapfrog the Raiders into sixth place on the NRL table.
