Goodes signed by Swans until 2011
Sydney have re-signed dual Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes until the end of the 2011 AFL season.
The four-year deal is expected to thrust Goodes amongst the top money earners in the AFL and will go close to making him a Swan for life as he will be 31 when the contract expires.
Swans coach Paul Roos said he was pleased to secure Goodes on a long-term deal.
"It's very exciting news for the club," Roos told News Limited.
"Goodesy is a quality player and I think we all expect him to play good footy for a fair while.
"It's great to have good footballers in your club, but when they are also good guys it's a huge plus."
Premiership defender Craig Bolton also signed an upgraded three-year contract with the club.
