Boyd passes fitness test for Kangaroos
Kangaroos winger Darius Boyd has been passed fit to play in Friday night's rugby league Test against New Zealand.
Boyd completed Tuesday's training session and has on Wednesday been passed fit to play in the match at Suncorp Stadium.
Canberra's Joel Monaghan, who was on standby for Boyd, was leaving camp on Wednesday morning to join the Country Origin side in Orange.
Kangaroos fullback Billy Slater is continuing to receive treatment to an ankle injury suffered on Tuesday and an update on his condition is expected later on Wednesday.
No decision has yet been made on whether a shadow player will be brought into the squad as cover for Slater.
