Green, O'Hern to play in US Masters
Australian Richard Green has earned a debut at Augusta for the US Masters by finishing in the top 50 in the end-of-year world rankings.
Denmark's Anders Hansen will also make his US Masters debut in April after claiming 50th position.
Hansen, who won the PGA Championship at Wentworth in May, and Green are among 30 European Tour members to earn an invitation to the first major of the season, the tour said on its official website (www.europeantour.com) on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old Dane is one of six European Tour members set to make their Augusta debuts.
He will be joined by fellow countryman Soren Hansen (46th in the world) and South African Richard Sterne (44th).
Briton Nick Dougherty, Australian Green and Argentina's Andres Romero secured their places after good performances in this season's majors.
Dougherty finished tied seventh in the US Open at Oakmont while Romero and Green finished third and joint fourth respectively in the British Open at Carnoustie.
Swedes Henrik Stenson and Robert Karlsson, South African Trevor Immelman, Briton Lee Westwood, Nick O'Hern of Australia and Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez have also qualified for the Masters.
American Zach Johnson will begin the defence of his Masters title on April 10.
