Ablett top Sun, Hunt most improved
Gary Ablett is the inaugural club champion at new AFL franchise the Gold Coast Suns.
The former Geelong premiership player, who was awarded votes in all but one of the 20 matches he played throughout the season, polled a total of 196 votes.
Vice-captain Nathan Bock polled 138 and Michael Rischitelli 100.
Ablett, the Suns skipper and a Brownlow medallist, averaged 30 disposals a game and kicked 17 goals for the last-placed team.
Rugby league convert Karmichael Hunt was named the club's most improved player.
