Taylor Walker re-signs with Crows
Key forward Taylor Walker has ended speculation about his AFL future by signing a new contract with Adelaide.
The 21-year-old Walker had been linked with Greater Western Sydney and also the Sydney Swans.
But Walker, who hails from Broken Hill, NSW, utility Brent Reilly and emerging youngsters Shaun McKernan had all signed new contracts with the Crows, the club said on Friday.
"We are very keen to keep this group together and all three of these players are extremely important players in our team," Adelaide's football operations manager Phil Harper said in a statement.
McKernan, 20, was rumoured to have been a target of North Melbourne - the club where his older brother Corey was a premiership star.
Adelaide did not specify the lengths of the new contracts for the trio, who re-signed a week after onballer Bernie Vince and defender Andy Ottens inked new deals with the Crows.
Walker endured a season of speculation after initially putting contract negotiations on hold to the end of the season.
The talented forward has kicked 87 goals in his 43 AFL games for the Crows.
Reilly, 27, was drafted by the Crows in 2001 and has played 154 games.
