Naiqama re-signs with Knights

Newcastle have retained in-form fullback Wes Naiqama until the end of the 2014 NRL season.
Naiqama had been linked to a return to his former club, St George Illawarra, but the 28-year-old turned his back on that offer to sign a new three-year deal.
Naiqama's signing continues a strong recruitment and retention process undertaken by incoming supercoach Wayne Bennett and owner Nathan Tinkler.
