Lance, Gill in for the Reds
Australian sevens representative Jono Lance will make his Super Rugby debut at fullback for Queensland and teenager Liam Gill will oppose David Pocock in Saturday night's clash with the Western Force.
Reds coach Ewen McKenzie late Friday finally revealed his starting team for the match at Perth's nib Stadium, making four changes to the side beaten 22-14 by the Brumbies last weekend.
Lance will replace the injured Ben Lucas at No.15, Will Chambers gains a starting recall in place of centre Anthony Faingaa (hamstring) and Rod Davies returns from knee surgery with winger Digby Ioane (concussion) sidelined.
The son of former Canberra Raiders captain Dean Lance, the 20-year-old utility back is a like-for-like replacement for Lucas who defends in the front line instead of playmaker Quade Cooper.
Rising flanker Gill, who turned 19 on Wednesday, will go head-to-head against Wallabies ball scavenger David Pocock in a baptism of fire.
The youngster, who replaces Ben Coridas, last week returned from the world under-20 championship in Italy to bolster the Reds back row following an elbow injury to Beau Robinson.
The Reds lead the competition and a bonus-point win would put them in position to avoid the first week of the play-offs and book a home semi-final.
