Hawks' AFL recruiter Pelchen resigns

The recruiting manager who helped put together Hawthorn's 2008 AFL premiership side has resigned.
The Hawks said they accepted player personnel and strategy manager Chris Pelchen's resignation on Friday.
He spent two stints with the club, first from 1989-95, before rejoining the Hawks in 2005.
"He has played a very important part in the club's rebuilding phase since 2005, and we are grateful for his contribution," Hawthorn chief executive Stuart Fox said on the club's website.
