Lions active compensation pick
AFL clubs have overwhelmingly decided to warehouse their Gold Coast compensation draft picks.
There are eight compensation picks in the draft system, granted to clubs who lost uncontracted players to the Suns under the expansion team's recruiting concessions.
Clubs can use the picks at any time until the 2014 draft, but must notify the AFL on the Tuesday before the start of the season that year.
Brisbane were the only club this year to activate a pick for the November draft.
They have two compensation picks and will use the selection that they gained by trading Justin Sherman to the Western Bulldogs.
The pick originally went to the Bulldogs because the Suns recruited Jarrod Harbrow.
Brisbane can use the pick at the end of round one in this year's draft, but can also use it for bargaining during trade week.
