More injury blues for Williams
Injury-plagued Blues lock Ali Williams faces another month on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury during Sunday's 22-22 draw with the Western Force in Perth.
Williams was into the fourth game on his Super Rugby comeback after an Achilles tendon injury sidelined him for most of the past two seasons and stalled his burgeoning All Blacks career.
"He's done a hamstring and at this stage it is looking like four weeks out," Blues coach Pat Lam said.
The injury will probably leave Anthony Boric and Kurtis Haiu as the starting locks to play Hurricanes at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday night.
