Young Roo may need knee reconstruction
North Melbourne's injury plagued AFL pre-season has claimed another victim.
Second-year player Ayden Kennedy will probably need a knee reconstruction after he was injured during Saturday night's match against Greater Western Sydney
But the news was better on forward Lachie Hansen, after scans revealed he did not have serious damage to his shoulder.
Hansen jarred his shoulder during the game and had to leave the field, but should be ready for round one.
Last week, the Kangaroos revealed ruckman Hamish McIntosh would have a delayed start to the regular season because of another Achilles tendon injury.
Levi Greenwood (ankle), Nathan Grima (back), Ryan Bastinac (knee), Ed Lower (knee) and Marcus White (shoulder) are also on the injury list, while Drew Petrie is suspended for round one.
