Clean start to AFL pre-season
The AFL Tribunal will have at least a week before needing to sit for the first time this year, after an almost incident-free start to the pre-season.
The only player cited from the weekend's three triple-header NAB Cup fixtures was Hawthorn youngster Matt Suckling, for making negligent contact with an umpire.
Suckling chose to pay a $900 fine, rather than fight the charge, meaning there was no need for a tribunal hearing.
