Davies injury scare for Wales
Wales' preparations for next week's autumn series Test against Australia suffered a potential setback on Wednesday after centre Jonathan Davies twisted an ankle in training.
The in-form Scarlets centre, regarded as certain to start against the Wallabies, suffered the injury during training with Wales at the squad's camp, coach Warren Gatland said.
The extent or seriousness of Davies' injury was not immediately clear but the player also suffered an ankle knock during a Celtic League last month.
"Jon Davies has gone down with an injury in training," said Gatland.
"It limits our midfield options a little bit. But you can't dwell on it - you have got to put it behind you."
Welsh preparations for the Australia match have already been disrupted by injuries to Lee Byrne, Leigh Halfpenny and Ryan Jones which have ruled them out of the November 6 match at the Millennium Stadium.
