Wallabies in to play Wales in December
Australia will face Wales in a post Rugby World Cup clash at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on December 3, it was announced on Wednesday.
The fixture will take place just a month after the climax of rugby union's showpiece tournament in New Zealand.
It is a financially important match for the Welsh Rugby Union who will be hoping for a big crowd at the 75,000 capacity Millennium Stadium as they bid to make-up some of the shortfall caused by the fact they won't, because of the World Cup, have a full home program of autumn internationals this year.
The Wallabies are the current holders of the James Bevan Trophy following a 25-16 win over Wales at the Millennium in November 2010.
"There is always huge demand for autumn rugby at the Millennium Stadium as fans have become used to watching Wales face some of the best teams in the world at home fixtures," said WRU group head of sales and marketing Craig Maxwell.
