Wales hampered by Henson calf strain
Reigning champions Wales' build-up to the defence of their Six Nations title has suffered a setback with coach Warren Gatland revealing star centre Gavin Henson is struggling with a calf muscle injury.
The British and Irish Lion sustained the injury in training on Tuesday and was prevented from training on Wednesday.
Henson, who was nevertheless included in the team to play Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday, won't train on Thursday as the squad have a day off.
A decision on the availability of the injury-plagued Henson to play for the grand slam holders will be made on Friday.
If the Ospreys back is unfit, the experienced Tom Shanklin is set to take his place in midfield with Andrew Bishop moving on to the bench.
However, should Henson get the go-ahead he would be starting a Test alongside the exciting Jamie Roberts for the first time.
