McLeod, Kirk get AFL jobs
Newly-retired premiership players Andrew McLeod and Brett Kirk will take up promotional roles with the AFL.
McLeod, the Norm Smith Medallist in Adelaide's 1997 and 1998 flags, who played 340 games for the Crows, will work on several of the league's community programs, particularly with indigenous players.
"This is something I am passionate about and have wanted to do for some time. The opportunity to give something back to the game and the community is truly exciting," he said.
Kirk, a co-captain of Sydney's 2005 premiership side and a 241-game Swans player, will become an AFL ambassador, with his role including mentoring youth.
