Crows star McLeod sidelined indefinitely
Mystery surrounds the future of Adelaide champion Andrew McLeod, who will be sidelined indefinitely by a knee injury.
The Crows are unable to say when McLeod will return to action after having knee surgery on Tuesday.
But the surgery isn't a season-ending scenario, Adelaide's football operations manager Phil Harper says.
"At the moment, we are unable to put a timeframe on his return but it is definitely not a season-ending injury," Harper said.
"The club doctors have advised that we may be able to put a rough timeline on Andrew's recovery by the end of this week."
McLeod, who has played 339 games and will turn 34 in August, is expected to retire at season's end.
Fellow Crows veterans Simon Goodwin and Tyson Edwards have already announced their retirements - Goodwin will quit at the end of the season while Edwards played his final game last weekend.
