Marshall, Lawrence named for Tigers
Injured Wests Tigers star Benji Marshall has been named at five-eighth for his side's must win NRL semi-final against Canberra on Friday night.
Marshall, who is battling a bruised medial ligament in his right knee, on Monday vowed to do everything he could to get on the paddock against the Raiders.
In further good news for Tim Sheens' side, Chris Lawrence was named on an extended bench, with the pacy centre set to be rushed into the starting line-up if he can prove his fitness after breaking his jaw in his side's round 25 win over Melbourne.
Backrower Gareth Ellis (back) and Liam Fulton (knee) were also included, but centre Geoff Daniela is a definite non-starter due to a torn hamstring.
His absence has forced a reshuffle with Mitch Brown going from fullback to the centres with Sean Meaney in the No.1 shirt, but Brown is likely to again shift to the back if Lawrence is cleared to play.
