Shoulder injury ends Benji's season
Wests Tigers five-eighth Benji Marshall will be sidelined for the rest of the 2006 NRL season after suffering yet another shoulder injury in the premiers' 24-20 loss to Penrith.
The New Zealand Test star requires more surgery on his troublesome right shoulder and will be out of the game for six months, according to the Tigers club doctor.
The injury is a massive blow to the Tigers' hopes of landing back-to-back titles.
As it is, the Tigers remain outside the top eight after suffering their eighth loss of the season at CUA Stadium.
