Hentschel delays comeback for Crows
Adelaide ruckman Ivan Maric has been cleared of knee damage, but the comeback of colleague Trent Hentschel has again been delayed by injury.
Hentschel had been considered in recent weeks for his first AFL match since suffering an horrific knee injury in late 2006.
But after a series of solid games in the SANFL, Hentschel sprained his ankle last weekend and will be sidelined about three weeks.
Maric has been cleared of internal damage to his left knee, injured during the Crows' loss to Brisbane last Saturday night.
The Crows rate Maric a chance to front Geelong in Adelaide's next match on July 4.
Crows star Andrew McLeod had an arthroscopy on his right knee on Monday night and is likely to miss the Geelong game and Adelaide's away fixture against Collingwood the following week.
"At this stage we expect Andrew to be ready to play in about a month," Adelaide's head doctor Andrew Potter said in a statement.
