Valentine ruled out of Force trial
Western Force recruit Josh Valentine has been ruled out of Thursday night's trial against Queensland at Ballymore with a hamstring strain.
Force medical staff described the move as precautionary after the former NSW and Reds halfback failed to fully recover from the strain, picked up at training last week.
Valentine is the second Force No.9 to go down with a hamstring problem ahead of the trial, with Chris O'Young ruled out after suffering a similar injury on Monday.
Academy halfback Justin Turner will wear the No.9 jersey with WA club player Aaron Murphy his back-up.
