All Blacks and Chiefs rugby player Sione Lauaki has pleaded guilty to a charge of assault.
Lauaki, 28, was charged with assault over an incident in a Hamilton bar this month.
He was remanded to May 6 for sentence on bail when he appeared in Hamilton District Court on Tuesday.
His lawyer told the court Lauaki would be undertaking an alcohol management course.
