Burt re-signs with Eels till end of 2012
Parramatta have re-signed veteran winger Luke Burt to a new three-year deal that will keep him at the NRL club until the end of 2012.
The 28-year-old, who will play his 200th first grade game in Sunday's clash with Manly, says he wants to finish his career at the club.
"To be able to stay at this club for longer was always a goal of mine," said Burt, who started his career at Parramatta in 1999.
"There's no way I'd want to be anywhere else."
Eels' chief executive Paul Osborne said Burt's form late last season forced the club to offer him a new deal.
"Luke's the type of player we want to keep around here for a long time, and build the club around into the future," Osborne said.
"Guys like him, Daniel Mortimer, Nathan Hindmarsh, Nathan Cayless, these are the types of players that make me encouraged about the future."
