Injuries delay naming of All Blacks team
Concerns over the five-eighth position have caused All Blacks' coach Graham Henry to postpone naming his team for Saturday's Tri Nations series opener against Australia.
The team was to be named on Tuesday but it has been delayed till Wednesday to allow the fitness of five-eighths Luke McAlister and Stephen Donald to be further assessed.
McAlister (back) and Donald (hamstring) are battling injuries but both ran freely at a training session on Monday and the All Blacks selectors need extra time to gauge their readiness.
All of the squad trained, with the exception of centre Isaia Toeava, who was already ruled out with a stress fracture of the foot.
