Wallabies to kick off Tri-Nations in NZ
The Wallabies will kick off their 2009 Tri-Nations campaign against the All Blacks in Auckland next July.
The Australian side will need to overcome a 23-year hoodoo in the city in order to get their campaign off to a positive start on July 18 as they seek a first Tri-Nations title since 2001.
Australia will play two Tests in New Zealand, with the other the final match in the series in Wellington on September 19.
The All Blacks will travel to Sydney to meet the Wallabies on August 22.
Australia will play a single Test in South Africa next year, meeting the Springboks in Cape Town on August 8.
The Boks will also face the Wallabies in Perth on August 29 and Brisbane on September 5.
South Africa open their campaign against the All Blacks in Bloemfontein on July 25 - the first time since 1976 New Zealand will have played a Test match at the venue.
The Springboks also play New Zealand in Hamilton - the first time the nations will have met there.
Next year's will be the 14th Tri-Nations series since the tournament began in 1996.
