Coote to miss rest of NRL season
Penrith fullback Lachlan Coote requires a shoulder reconstruction and is expected to miss the rest of the NRL season.
It is the second time Coote will go under the knife for a shoulder complaint, his 2008 season ended prematurely with the same problem.
Coote is likely to have surgery within the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, NSW utility and Panthers forward Luke Lewis underwent surgery on his broken toe on Monday.
He is expected to miss up to eight weeks.
