Cameron Shepherd forced out with injury
Western Force back Cameron Shepherd has been ruled out of Saturday night's Super 14 clash with the Stormers in Cape Town after failing a fitness test on his injured left knee.
Shepherd suffered meniscus damage during last week's narrow loss to the Bulls and was eventually ruled out of the penultimate round clash at the team's final training session at Newlands Stadium this morning.
Shepherd's replacement on the left wing is Haig Sare, who will run on with the starting team for the first time since week two.
Fullback Dane Haylett-Petty has won the final bench position.
The Force must win the match to maintain a slim chance of making the finals.
