Habana ruled out of Wallabies Test
South African star Bryan Habana has been all but ruled out of Saturday's Tri-Nations Test against Australia in Durban.
Springboks officials confirmed on Tuesday that rugby's world player of the year had sustained a grade one tear to his hamstring.
The speedster limped off during the second half of last Saturday's 19-0 loss to New Zealand at Newlands and is likely to be sidelined for 10 days.
He will undergo further tests on Wednesday.
The loss is a major setback for the Boks, who have already lost towering lock Bakkies Botha for their remaining two Tri-Nations Tests.
Cheetahs winger Jongi Nokwe has returned to the squad as Habana's replacement.
South Africa selectors announce their side on Wednesday.
