Cowboys replace Tallis on board

The North Queensland Cowboys have named former NRL hardman Gorden Tallis' replacement on their board.
Cowboys chairman Laurence Lancini has welcomed lawyer Trevor Cowling to the fold.
Tallis left the NRL club after taking up a role as South Sydney's new forwards coach.
Cowling - a partner with Townsville law firm Roberts Nehmer McKee - boasts a legal career spanning more than 30 years.
"We are very happy to have someone of Trevor's calibre and expertise join the board," Lancini said.
