Dragons prop Poore out until NRL finals
St George Illawarra prop Justin Poore looks set to miss the remainder of the NRL regular season after scans revealed ligament damage to his dislocated kneecap.
Poore suffered the injury midway through the second half of the Dragons' 13-12 loss to Cronulla on Saturday night, with the initial diagnosis being a recovery period of 4-6 weeks.
There are only five rounds remaining before the finals with the Dragons needing to win two more games to secure a top eight finish.
The bad news didn't end there for the joint venture club with Brett Morris and skipper Mark Gasnier also ruled out of Friday night's crunch match against eighth-placed Wests Tigers.
Morris damaged an AC joint in his left shoulder while Gasnier is still being hampered by a corked leg suffered in the round 20 win over the Bulldogs.
