Wallabies set for another RWC win
Bill isn't going anywhere just yet.
The Wallabies tightened their hold on the Webb Ellis trophy - dubbed Bill - with a stunning 22-10 win over New Zealand in their World Cup semi-final.
They became the first defending champions to make a World Cup final, and will take on the winner of Sunday night's semi-final between England and France.
Despite the sweeping victory, which was set up by an frenzied opening 20 minutes in which rampaging centre Stirling Mortlock crossed for an intercept try, coach Eddie Jones kept his emotions in check.
"We played well tonight but we've got some space for improvement and next week we'll need to improve," Jones said at the post-match press conference.
The Wallabies also have a number of injury concerns, with prop Ben Darwin stretchered from the field and taken to hospital for neck x-rays.
Teams officials said he had regained all feeling in his limbs.
Hooker Brendan Cannon has a shoulder injury, while key lock Nathan Sharpe damaged his lower leg with the trio to be further assessed.
Before the Telstra Stadium match the Australians promised they wouldn't die wondering and they delivered.
They had been criticised all year after a series of mediocre performance but saved their best for their biggest match since the 1999 final.
