We'll be better in the final: Eddie
You ain't seen nothing yet.
That was Wallabies coach Eddie Jones' bold prediction following Australia's stunning Rugby World Cup 22-10 semi-final victory over New Zealand.
The Wallabies turned the formbook on its head in an almost faultless display to storm into next Saturday's World Cup final at Telstra Stadium, where they will defend their crown.
They defended savagely in numbers, attacked from everywhere with fervour, and played with an intensity and passion that had been missing from their game all year.
A rank outsider after its mediocre form during the tournament, Australia never allowed tournament favourite New Zealand a sniff.
Twin terriers Phil Waugh and George Smith were relentless at the breakdown, while the Wallabies won the forward battle which shut down the threatening All Blacks backline.
But Jones said the best was yet to come.
"All I'll say is our performance next week will be better," he said.
"That's what we're aiming for, we haven't seen the best of this side yet.
"We've got to work hard this week, prepare smart and hopefully play better this week.
