Australia and England cricketers will begin preparations for a different contest on Monday, this time a Twenty20 clash at the SCG on Tuesday night.
Having thrashed England 5-0 in the Ashes series, Australia will be out to continue the dominance in the bash and crash game.
That heralds the triangular one-day series, also involving New Zealand, beginning Friday when Australia and England meet at the MCG.
